About

The Regentenkamer is a venue that serves as a stage for music, art and culture. This venue has been the living room of Jazz music for over 25 years!

The Regentenkamer has a memorable Dutch history, specially in The Haque’s Jazzworld.
Since 1990 is the Regentenkamer a favorite venue of big Jazz musicians like Rita Reys, Rachel Gould, Ronald Douglas, Rob van Kreeveld, Ack van Rooyen en Ferdinand Povel and many more. It is no wonder that De Regentenkamer is compared to Het Bimhuis in Amsterdam.

This is a contemporary jazz venue that can be considered a home for many musicians and is often named ‘The Hague’s School’ for the dutch Jazz world. The stage at the Regentenkamer also has an catalyzing effect on the careers of the young musicians.

Thea van Loon is known in The Haque for her hospitality and openess. It is a small venue but very inspiring for new talent. It is also a perfect location for known artists and a warm meeting place.

The art curator of The Regentenkamer is  Justine Le Clercq – writter and curator tentoonstellingmaker.  leclercqjustine@outlook.com • bereikbaar via email
